Creating a Spatial Database Connection
The Map Interoperability dialog manages the connections to the spatial database. Select File -> Map Interoperability -> Connections
Only one database connection can be active in a session.
Connections can be ad-hoc or created as part of a Bentley Map project. An ad-hoc connection does not have defined feature types, symbology and property types. For spatial database editing, it is highly advisable to create a Bentley Map project by registering the spatial features using Bentley Geospatial Administrator.
